If Jesus returned today, no one would believe him.
He could turn water into wine, and they’d call it sleight of hand.
He could feed the hungry with a single fish, and they’d scream ‘FAKE NEWS’!
He could heal the sick, and Big Pharma would launch a smear campaign.
He could stand with the poor and the oppressed, and they’d call him a dangerous radical.
He would preach love, and be met with hatred.
He would walk among the broken, and be mocked for wasting his time.
He would come to lead the meek, and they’d put a red dot on his forehead.
In fact, if Jesus walked the earth today,
God might whisper to him:
“Spare yourself the heartache, my son. These people do not want to be saved.”
